About Me Hello parents and guardians and welcome to my page! I am a 27 year old wife and mother of two gorgeous kids! My son Nolan will turn 3 in august on my birthday. And my daughter Bella was just born on St. Patty's day of this year! I love staying home with them and watching them grow! As a kid, I grew up on a small acreage outside of Harlan, Iowa. I loved being outdoors and playing with animals. My older sister, and my younger brother and I were all home schooled. I enjoyed the closeness of it as a kid, but during the high school years I felt like I was missing out. When it came time for college, I couldn't be more excited to enter the world! Although painfully shy, I soon made lots of friends and even started dating. I met my husband in 2006 at a college group I was attending through Christ Community Church. Although it wasn't love at first sight, his persistence soon grew on me! We had a perfect wedding in August of 2008 and he took me to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Our surprise came only ten weeks later; we were expecting! At just one week shy of our first year anniversary, our beautiful baby boy was born! He has really chanced our lives for the better and brought my husband and I even closer together. As my son grew older from baby to toddler, my desire to stay home with him grew as well. I had worked in healthcare all of my life as a CNA/CMA and all of my schooling was in nursing, so it was a big leap of faith to quite my job and everything I knew to start up my daycare. I couldn't have been more surprised at how great everything has turned out! Not only do I LOVE staying home and watching these children, but all of my daycare moms and I become close personal friends! We love going to each others kid's birthday parties and meeting in the park for play-dates! We love to talk mommy to mommy and share advice on raising kids, much of which I can apply to my job! I encourage openness and honesty with my daycare families so that it becomes more than just a business arrangement but a partnership in raising your child. I promise to do my very best in caring for your little one. To treat him or her as I would want my child to be treated and to make sure every need is met so that they look forward to coming here each day! Philosophy To create an environment that is conducive to learning, growing, and developing while making my home warm and inviting for children of all ages! Experience I have many years’ experience as a caregiver and am certified in first aide and CPR. I am also a registered CNA and CMA. I have three years’ experience running my in-home daycare and have miles of experience babysitting, nannying. And of course nothing beats the first-hand experience of being a mommy!
Early Learning Program I purchase my learning materials from Funshine Express and hold lessens for children 3 years old and older. In addition, children of all ages are taught colors, shapes and numbers through our activities, crafts and play time. Any activity can be used as a learning experience! Policies At this time my daycare is only open Tuesday through Thursday from 7am to 5:30pm (6:30pm on Wednesdays). The cost is $35 per day for a child of any age. I only watch three children at a time so that each child gets enough care and personal attention! Please call or email for more information
