Mama Bear's Daycare is a fully licensed and Insured Home Daycare. I have been providing childcare in my home for over five years. 

I believe that in order to flourish, ever child needs individual attention in a loving, structured and educational environment. Leaving small children in the care of another person is often a very difficult decision for parents to make. Therefore, it is my goal to make the transition from home to daycare as smooth as possible. Every effort is made to make each child feel safe and comfortable in my home. The children in my care truly become part of our extended family.

I am a loving Christian mother of 2 with over 8 years of childcare experience.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and participate regularly in continuing childcare education classes. I am certified in both CPR and FIRST AID.

Early Learning Program

As a childcare provider I focus on helping children adjust to a group learning setting.  I encourage respect for others and good manners as well as age-appropriate interaction and conflict resolution.  I utilize the Funshine Express Early Learning Curriculum for children ages 2 and older. This program uses music& movement and arts & crafts, in an educational way to introduce children to the Alphabet, Numbers, Colors,Shapes, etc.  Parents can check out the curriculum on the web at www.funshineexpress.com

Policies
