About Me
My name is
Bonnie Schanou. I've been doing daycare for 24 years. I started daycare
years ago when my four children were young, but they are grown and married
and we are having grandkids now. I've been married for 35 years and I've
lived in my home in Westmont for 32 years. I feel it is important for
children to have stability in their lives.
My
Philosophy
My purpose
of running a home daycare is make kids feel like they are in their home away
from home. I try to teach the children that it is important to share and
play together as if they were a big family. It is important to teach them
manners before they go to school.
I do different activities with them
during the day such as teaching their letters, numbers, colors, but I also
just let them use their imagination during some of these activities. It is
important to let them play, cause they learn through playing.
My
Experience
I
continue attending classes every year and have my first aid and CPR
certificates. My memberships include ChildCare Share Resource & Support
Group in Omaha.
Policies
& Information for Enrollment
I require a deposit
equal to one week tuition to hold a spot for more than 1 month, which is
non-refundable.
