About Me
I am a married mother of 4 children, ages 10 to 2. We
have 3 boys and a girl. My husband and I met in France
and so speak French when together, as well as the
children are trying. After spending 10 years abroad, we
have been in Omaha for 7 years. I stay home, so I can be
there when they come home from school (and for those
days when out of school). Philosophy "Hearts to love, Hands to hold" Experience For four seasons I was room leader of different levels, from infants/crawlers to 4-5 preschoolers. I loved it. For the past 3 years I have been doing home daycare with children from ages one year to 6 years, with most lasting a year in my care! However, being a mom of 4 is quite a learning experience, since we have very active (not passive-type) children, which I believe, is a qualification in itself. I have done CPR training; have had a background check through being a McGruff safe-house. How We Spend Our Days My forte is doing art and crafts with the children, especially around the holidays. We have reading time, recognizing colors & shapes, learning to count and identifying the alphabet. We enjoy baking time together. We try to include exercise and outdoor time in our day; taking walks & riding bikes. I like to highlight good behavior and we practice sharing, taking turns and working on our listening skills. Additional Information We have a very large living room for play; fenced backyard with play set that has swings, slide and fort. There's a small sandbox, low trampoline, and a basketball hoop. Our 10, 8 and 3 year old boys love to play soccer after school! We have great girl things too!
I transport to
preschool, if not to far away for a small fee. |
