About Me
I am a young and energetic stay at home mother of two.  I decided to do in home daycare so that I can give other children with working parents what mine lacked when in daycare:  a good, caring provider!  I have lots of patience, energy, creativity, and love & hugs.  My references are wonderful and available to you upon request.

My Philosophy
I believe that the children are our future and what they learn today is the foundation for the rest of their lives.  A balance of learning, pretending, and exploration help to make children well rounded and prepared for years to come.

My Experience & Training
I am CPR/First Aid certified for both Infants and Children.  I am in the process of receiving my state license, though I already follow all the policies and guidelines.  I am a mother of two and have worked in daycare centers in the past.

Early Learning Program
I follow the preschool curriculum that can be viewed at www.funshineexpress.com.  Throughout the day we do activities such as language development, math skills, colors, shapes, ABC's, 123's, arts and crafts, pretend play, etc.  We also do circle time, story time, outdoor recreation, and have fun.  For the infants, I do their own circle time, include them in story time(s), and teach Baby Signs.

Policies
I require a one hour interview with the child and parent(s) before enrolling so that we make sure we are a good fit together.  I have a parent handbook and enrollment forms that need to be gone over before enrollment can be completed.  There is a security deposit of one week's enrollment fee to hold a spot.
