About me:
Hi! My name is Heather Weber. I am a 26 year old
energetic mother of one four month old! My husband
and I enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing and
camping. I also enjoy arts and crafts like
scrapbooking, cross stitching and have recently
tried my hand at painting! I love working with
children, it is my passion!
Philosophy:
I believe that all children should be in a safe,
loving environment where they are free to explore
the world around them. I look forward in partnering
with parents and providing their children with such
an environment!
Experience:
I began babysitting at the age of 12. I knew for
sure that working with my children was my calling
when I began working in a daycare center at age 19.
I was able to work with all ages of children and
loved them all! I have spent the past three and a
half years as a lead preschool teacher. I am CPR
and first aid certified for adults, children and
infants. I plan on continuing my education with
classes and training, and keeping my CPR-first aid
certification up to date.
Early learning program:
I am currently caring for infants only. In my care
infants will do a number of different activities. I
keep a flexible schedule that includes free playtime
and exploration, dancing, singing, reading stories,
introduction of basics (colors, shapes, ect.)
through play and fun. Older infants will
participate in art projects! I will also help
children learn baby sign language if desired by
their parents!
Policies:
Please contact me for information on enrollment. A
policy handbook will be provided to parents.
Additional information:
In accordance with
Nebraska state guidelines I keep a very small group
of only three children, including my own daughter.
This allows me to pay very close to attention to
each infants personal schedule and work very closely
with parents to insure that children are getting the
best care possible. I look forward to meeting with
you and your child(ren)!
