About Me:

I am an experienced preschool teacher who has started my own in-home daycare. I am licensed by the state. I have my bachelor's degree in K-12 art education. I have worked in preschool centers as a teacher since 2003. I am married with a 2 year old son. I am looking forward to providing individualized care for children and a loving family atmosphere.

Philosophy:

I believe that it is my job to help children develop to their full potential with the support of their parents. I am here to support and supplement the care of the parents, and be a resource to them in the raising of their child.

Experience:

I have my bachelors degree in K-12 art education from UNL.

I have been teaching as a preschool teacher in licensed childcare centers since 2003.

Early Learning Program:

I provide a structure preschool curriculum based around The Creative Curriculum, that includes art, science, math, and language presented in developmentally appropriate activities.

Policies:

I will provide a parent handbook to each family that outlines my policies and all enrollment information.

Additional Information:

We live in a new, smoke free home in the Stone Ridge East neighborhood. We have a lot of developmentally appropriate toys, and tons of indoor and outdoor play space. I provide a nutritionally sound breakfast, lunch, and two snacks daily.
