About Me
I have 15 years of childcare experience; the last 4 years I've
been operating my own state licensed in-home daycare. I am
married with one child and two playful little dogs. I'm CPR and
First Aid certified and complete 12 hours of continuing
education courses/reading focused on child development.
My
Philosophy
I believe all children are individuals, each with very unique qualities. I
will provide a warm, caring, structured, and educational environment, which
will foster creativity and success for each child. Together, parents and
providers must give guidance and encourage children to develop their
individual talents to their fullest. Time will be taken to listen to each
child, to give them the opportunity to feel secure, comfortable, stable, and
happy. I, as a professional childcare provider, promise an open door
policy. I like to ensure that we can share openly any concerns that may
arise. A trusting relationship will be established with all parents.
My
Experience
I've been working as a childcare provider since 1994. I've
worked in center daycare facilities in every capacity from
teacher to assistant director. I finally got the chance to start
my own in-home daycare when my husband and I moved to Omaha 4
years ago.
Early Learning Program
I implement casual education methods to teach basic motor skills, age
appropriate speech, manners and general socialization. I listen to the
children to tell me what they are ready to learn.
Policies
Call or email me to set up an interview where I can explain my
policies and other guidelines in my parent handbook.
Additional Information:
My home daycare includes a large fenced back yard with a playset
and other outside toys.
