About Me My name is Pat Mueller and I have been offering child care in my home for ten years. I am the proud mother of three children, 2 daughters and a son. All three have advanced degrees. I enjoy reading, crafts, scrapbooking, and planning children's activities. I have worked with children most of my life and I truly love seeing the growth and development that children can achieve through fun learning activities. Philosophy I strive to provide parents with an educational and caring environment for their children to grow and develop. I believe in nurturing children to be confident in their abilities and respect themselves and others. I believe these aspects need to be achieved through a partnership of communication between parents and myself. Experience I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from the College of St. Mary with additional hours of continued education. I have previously taught school in District 66 in Omaha, the Dubuque, Iowa school system and the Davenport, Iowa school system. I am a member of the Midwest Food Program, Childcare Share and Millard Area Providers Daycare groups. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. Early Learning Program I provide Preschool Learning activities for the enrichment of the child care environment including: Arts and crafts, Music and Movement, ABC's, Math, Stories and play acting, Baking, Sharing, Exercises, free time, and quiet time. I continually get new ideas for my preschool program from a variety of resources including: "Reach for the Stars" Preschool program, "Funshine Express" Preschool program, "Mother Goose Time" Preschool Program, “Childcare Village Early Childcare" and many numerous online programs.
