About
Me
Hello! My name is Robyn. I have been offering
childcare in my home for 30 years. I am a mother to
five children, four sons and one daughter, and
grandmother to three.
I am so grateful to have the chance to be such an
important part of many children's lives, as well as
being home for my own children and grandchildren. I
am very fortunate to be able to work in a profession
that continues to help me grow as a professional, a
childcare provider and a parent.
Learning, playing and laughing with my small group
of children is my suggestion to feeling 'young at
heart'.
Through working in childcare and being a stay at
home mom; I have met so many wonderful people. My
family and I have made lasting friendships with
people we would probably not otherwise have met, It
truly is the best of both worlds.
Philosophy
My philosophy on children is very simple. It is to
accept, respect and value each child who enters my
childcare home. All children have a right to safe,
healthful, loving care and to opportunities for
developmental activities according to their ages,
special needs, talents, and interests.
I believe children thrive best in a loving group
environment and learn when they are having fun. At
Quality Time Childcare I will do my best to partner
closely with you in striving to meet all of your
child's needs and together we can help prepare them
for success later in life.
My goals
as a caregiver is to provide a relaxed, stable, loving, safe,
and clean environment. Also, to provide you the parents a place
where you can feel comfortable leaving your child while you must
work.
I will always strive to give each child the best
care possible and will do my best to keep the lines
of communication open between myself and the
families who entrust their children to me.
Experience
I have been licensed with the State of Nebraska
since 1989 and awarded Nationally Accreditation
through the National Association of Family Child
Care (NAFCC) in May 1996.
I have spent the last twenty years taking Child
Development courses that range from Infant, Toddler,
Preschool and school-age care and development. In
May 1996 I become the second in the State of
Nebraska to achieve National Accreditation status
