 About Me
I am a
mother of a wonderful, energetic boy. He is the reason I decided
to stop working 50 hours a week and come home to raise him and
take care of him. I am a very organized and a clean person. I keep
my daycare very small because I believe that quality daycare is
lost when there are too many kids.

My
Philosophy
Children
learn through play. I try to provide as many opportunities for
them to discover things about the world but I don't interfere or
interpret what they discover for themselves, instead I ask them
what they have learned. Your children are really bright and do
not need to be talked down to but treated as special little
individuals with much to share.
My
Experience
I was a
nanny for a couple in Virginia. I completed all the NHHSS
training. I am certified in First Aid and infant and adult CPR,
I started in 2005 after realizing my child was more important
than my career.
Early Learning Program
My
teaching isn't structured, I provide art supplies for them to
experiment with, I don't think it is important for them to
"learn" anything except their names, addresses, phone, color
identification and letter recognition before attending
Kindergarten.
Policies
I have
paid holidays that are only paid if it is one of your scheduled
days. If your child is sick or won't be attending our daycare
for any other reason that is a paid day.
I have 2
weeks vacation per year, but I will give you notice way in
advance. I allow two weeks vacation for your family per year and
these are 1/2 payments. These weeks must be 5 consecutive days. |
