My
Philosophy
The Montessori philosophy allows young children to learn and
explore in a relaxed environment. The child learns by doing.
The Montessori Learning Home, not only provides a
safe and nurturing environment, it allows the child many
wonderful learning opportunities based on the Montessori
philosophy. The learning is done in relaxed home-based atmosphere.

About Me
The Macaulay family has lived in the Omaha
area for 27 years. I graduated from Mount Marty
College in Yankton, SD and spent a year and a half
as a missionary in Japan during my college years.
Presently I am an active member at St. John's Church
at Creighton University, Christians Encounter Christ
and the St. Margaret Mary's Prayer Group. Activities
that I enjoy in my free time are biking, hiking,
reading, singing, and traveling. Most of all I enjoy
children, caring for them and watching them grow and
learn.
