About Me I am a happily married mother of two young boys, ages 3 and 1. I am formally trained as a school psychologist. I have worked with many children of various ages, but I most enjoy working with the early childhood age range. Philosophy My goal is to give your child a happy, educational, and fun environment that is like a second home. I will provide an environment which strives to enrich your child’s life and includes structured learning and fun activities, as well as free play. Experience I have been employed in before/after school programs, a fitness center nursery, in a home-based childcare, and worked with children of many different ages while completing my training in psychology. I am certified in CPR/First Aid, state licensed, and fully comply with the educational requirements outlined by the state. I participate in the Midwest Child Care food program to ensure nutritious meals Early Learning Program Your child will be exposed to many learning activities to include letters, numbers, shapes, the alphabet and colors. Arts, crafts, music and books are also utilized to help your child become ready for school. Policies Information regarding my policies and contract will be provided upon interviewing. Additional Information We have recently finished our walk-out basement, which provides a perfect environment for childcare. I employ two college-aged helpers, one of whom is present for most of the day to ensure the children are well supervised. Both are in full compliance with state regulations and training. We are a non-smoking home with pets which remain upstairs during our day. |
