Childcare Commandments
1. It is better to prepare
than to repair. Fostering self-esteem from the start is easier than patching and
repairing later.
2. It is better to speak
softly than to shout. The attention of a child does not increase in ratio to the
volume of the human voice.
3. It is better to show
than to tell. It is a fact that example speaks loader than words.
4. It is better to reward
than to punish. Accentuate the positive, eliminate the tears.
5. It is better to listen
than to lecture. Children have the right to be heard and very often are correct.
6. It is better to delegate
than to dictate. Share the fun and cheer one another on. Cultivate unity.
7. It is better to teach
than to threaten. Clear directions and consistent boundaries encourage
self-confidence in both teacher and child.
8. It is better to
practice ethics than to punish misconduct. The classroom is a microcosm of the
world.
9. It is better to create
joy than to complain. By anticipating good, success is assured.
10. It is better to live….
Then well, there is nothing better than to simply
LOVE……
